She has worked with different media stations before joining the CBS News team. Spectrum News 1 and ABC News are some of them. Olivia Leach’s Family, Parents, and Personal Life

As stated above, Leach is an American-born who is a huge animal lover. She loves her cat Pocoyo which she rescued. About her family, we perused online pages to try and find something but there is no much information about the subject. We are unaware of who her parents are and their whereabouts. Before she even became an on-air reporter, Olivia Leach had other jobs she has done even outside her jouralism career. For three months (June to August 2011), Leach was an administrative assistant at Adelphi University. In October of that same year, she got a position at The George Washington University Center for Civic Engagement as a resource assistant. She did the job until May 2012 then went back again to Adelphi University.

Olivia left Adelphi in August 2012 to join IES Study Abroad in Granada, Spain. Her job was photography blogging. Her experience in photography led her to the Broadcasting Board of Governors in Washington D.C., Metro Area. This was in September 2013 but she was an intern there. This time she was not photographing. Her task was to update and manage the company’s social media pages, maintain the intra-agency website, and write press releases about news events, among other tasks. After she graduated from the University in 2015, Leach interned at MSNBC for the Ed Show. Her work was to assist the senior producer. She also did research for the producers, inteviewed different sources via mail and phone on behalf of the producers and much more.

In 2016, she joined the American Issues Initiative team as a field producer. As a field producer, she researched and produced storylines, shot pre-interviews, and other events and other tasks. After leaving American Issues Initiative in December 2016, she went to Sidney Hillman Foundatoin Inc. as a submission reviewer.
