She is a beautiful and dedicated young lady with many talents. A graduate of the University of Miami, she was part of the school’s strong women strong girls mentor program that was meant to encourage and uplift young girls and women in general. You probably have seen her severally on the Spectrum News 1 channel, giving you reports about the weather. We are talking about Autumn Robertson. Who is Autumn Robertson?
Autumn Robertson is a weekend weather forecaster (meteorologist) currently working at Spectrum News 1. Since she was young, Autumn has always been in love with the weather and wanted to pursue a course in it. Her fascination with the weather increased when she rode the “Twister” movie at Universal Studios. Though terrified, she was captivated by the severe weather at that time. Her love and curiosity for weather led her to pursue a course in meteorology at the University of Miami. She also studied broadcast journalism.
Autumn was employed as a meteorologist at KTVL after she graduated from college. After some time at the station, she gained more experience and has been in different other stations which we’ll discuss below. Her first forecasting she did professionally was in Oregon where she forecasted wildfires and microclimate. Autumn Robertson loves to harmonize random songs with her angelic vocals. Autumn Robertson Parents
As we have stated in the above section, we could not find any information regarding Autumn Robertson’s early life and background. We are unaware of who her parents are and their occupations. According to an online statement, Autumn’s father worked for an airline. His career inspired her to read the weather. Her favorite book when young was ” The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs”. While still in school she participated in various activities and things outside her career. She was the Miss University of Miami Scholarship Pageant’s committee executive Co-Chair. Her job was to proof all the marketing and press releases, as well as planning the committee’s meetings. She also was part of the SPARK incorporated mentorship program as the public relations chair.
For her career as a reporter and meteorologist, Autumn interned for WFOR/CBS4 in Miami in 2015. Her task was to provide support to the director of community relations and give assistance. She reviewed publications and social media for the station’s related stories and articles. Her internship was due in December of 2015. But before she began her internship program for CBS4, Autumn was an executive producer, meteorologist, and reporter for the University of Miami’s TV. She shot, produced, and edited news stories for the channel’s flagship news. As a meteorologist, she analyzed weather patterns and presented forecasts. Autumn managed the production of the daily news broadcasts as the executive producer.
After she graduated from college, Autumn Robertson joined KTVL-News Channel 10 in March 2017 where she was a weekend evening meteorologist. Based in Medford, Oregon, she worked for the station for around six years if am not wrong, and left in 2022 or 2021. She joined Spectrum News 1 SoCal team in August 2022, as a meteorologist, where she works until now.
